4. How We Collect Personal Information
We may collect personal information when you complete our booking form, contact us, book a service, provide access or service instructions, make a payment, upload photographs or documents, give feedback, subscribe to marketing, or use our website. We may also receive relevant information from property management companies or other authorised persons acting in connection with a property or booking, and limited technical information via cookies, subject to your preferences where consent is required.
5. How and Why We Use Your Personal Information
We use personal information to respond to enquiries; process, confirm and administer bookings; deliver turnover services; manage scheduling and property access; manage linen and essentials requirements; conduct property checks and issue reporting; process payments; communicate about bookings; handle complaints and disputes; maintain business and financial records; improve our services; protect our business, clients, Specialists and properties; detect or prevent fraud or misuse; comply with legal obligations; and send marketing where permitted by law. We do not sell your personal information.
6. Our Lawful Bases for Processing
• Contract — to take steps you request before entering a contract, or to deliver services you’ve booked
• Legal Obligation — to comply with legal, tax, accounting or regulatory requirements
• Legitimate Interests — for service administration, security, record-keeping, quality assurance and preventing misuse, where not overridden by your rights
• Consent — for certain marketing or cookie activities; you may withdraw consent at any time
7. Sharing Your Information
Where reasonably necessary, we may share information with payment processors; IT, hosting, booking and scheduling providers; communications providers; contractors delivering booked services; professional advisers (accountants, insurers, legal advisers); and regulators, courts or law enforcement where required or permitted by law. We only share what’s reasonably necessary, and expect appropriate data protection arrangements from any third party processing data on our behalf.
8. Property Photographs & Turnover Records
We may photograph properties before, during or after a turnover for condition reporting, quality assurance, completion confirmation, damage documentation, complaint resolution, and internal training. Photographs will not be used for advertising, social media or promotional purposes without appropriate permission.
9. Payment Information
Payments are processed securely by a trusted third-party provider (Stripe). AblePro does not store your full debit or credit card details. We retain relevant transaction records for payment administration, accounting, refunds, disputes, fraud prevention and legal compliance. See your payment provider’s own privacy policy for further detail.
10. Marketing Communications
Where permitted by law, we may contact you about AblePro services, updates or offers. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time via the unsubscribe option or by contacting us — this won’t affect necessary operational communications about your bookings, payments or services.
11. Cookies & Website Technologies
Our website may use cookies to enable essential functionality, remember preferences, understand usage, measure performance and support marketing where applicable. Non-essential cookies are not activated until you’ve made the appropriate choice, where consent is legally required. See our Cookie Policy for further detail.
12. Data Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, alteration or disclosure, and limit access to those who reasonably need it. No method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed completely secure.
13. Data Retention
We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes it was collected — including legal, accounting, tax, contractual and dispute-resolution requirements — considering the nature and sensitivity of the data, its purpose, and applicable obligations. When no longer needed, we securely delete, anonymise or dispose of it.
14. Your Data Protection Rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have the right to be informed, to access your data, to request correction or deletion, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. These rights are not absolute and depend on the applicable lawful basis. Where we process on the basis of legitimate interests, you may object to that processing, and you always have the right to object to direct marketing.
15. International Transfers
Some providers we use may process or store personal information outside the UK. Where this happens, we take appropriate steps to ensure the transfer complies with UK data protection law and appropriate safeguards apply. Contact us for further information.
16. Automated Decision-Making
AblePro does not currently make decisions about customers based solely on automated processing that produces legal or similarly significant effects. If this changes, we’ll update this policy accordingly.
17. Third-Party Websites
Our website may link to third-party websites or services. AblePro Cleaning Ltd is not responsible for their privacy practices — please review their own policies before providing personal information.
18. Children’s Privacy
Our services are intended for adults and businesses arranging property turnover services. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children, and will take appropriate steps to address it if we become aware this has happened unnecessarily.
19. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this policy periodically to reflect changes to our services, business practices, technology or legal requirements. The latest version is always published on our website with an updated effective date.
